Work isn't that bad....

There isn't much to say here to be honest. Except that my job after 3 months of working isn't all that bad. Compared to other places I love the place a lot. Everyone, my coworkers are nice and I'm pretty much able to work independently. Of course, what I'm doing is new and all but I'm learning as I go. Hopefully, all goes well. I am thankful for what I've accomplished and have so far in my life.

Busy as always, but I'm doing stuff...

What can I say? Nothing's changed since last month. I'm still busy as ever with work and it makes me miss university at times. I could sleep in on the weekdays and make gifs, edits, etc. for my fandoms. These days, I'm not really on Tumblr a lot and I'm not doing said things.

I downloaded a drawing app called Ibis Paint X and been coloring manga panels from Bleach and Yu-Gi-Oh!. How am I staying active with fandom stuff? Well, I'm writing some stories and being active in Twitter for my fandoms. Honestly, spending less time on Tumblr has been a good thing for me. I get more writing done in the process.

Anyways have a good one guys!

So busy with life....

I know for a fact that nobody is going to read my blog and I'm totally OK with that. I guess this is just more of an update post.

So here we go. I got a new job and now I live in another city. I've been very busy training these past few weeks at my new job and everything is very new to me.

These days, I'm hardly on Tumblr and more on Twitter. On the bright side though I'm writing a lot more stories so that's a plus!

In regards to anime series I'm watching it's the usual, slowly rewatching Bleach and Yu-Gi-Oh! and pretty much watching whatever this Spring Season. Speaking of which, hopefully I find time to write about The Royal Tutor a super cute series.

Take care and I'm out!

ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. = Best Anime Series for Winter 2017

Not counting any ongoing series I'm watching from the fall season, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. is the only series I have picked up this winter season. I don't why, but I felt like this season's titles didn't fancy my interest at all. However, I saw pictures of ACCA floating around so I decided to give it a go. Boy oh boy! Let me tell you guys, it's amazing!

Though the simulcast from Crunchyroll is over, Funimation still has about 2 more episodes to play for the English dub. That's all for now folks!

But dad, I’m 25 years old. An ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Fic

How old is Nino? Another thought on ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.

Do you see this guy? His name is Nino and he's one of the characters from ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Dude looks like someone in his late 20s to early 30s right? Wrong! Based on what I calculated, he's at least 40 years old. I could not believe my eyes when I found after watching episode 8 of ACCA yesterday and again today. Turns out he's older than Jean by at least 10 years. (Someone on Tumblr mentioned that Jean's age could be at least 30 years old.)

To sum things up, episode 8 was basically a flashback episode that sort revealed a lot of what is going on in the show. In one scene, Nino's fathers happily says that Jean is about to start high school. Long story short, Nino's father says he has a mission for his son. Nino is going to high school to keep an eye on Jean under the guise of high school photography club (or was it yearbook???). Anyways, Nino shows some skeptism and says, "But dad, I'm 25 years old." or something along those lines. Viewers are given the fact that Nino is the older friend.

On another note, the reason why I estimated Nino's age to 40 years old because, in another episode Jean I believe, mentioned how they knew each other for 15 years. So I just added 25+15 = 40. Honestly, there's no official info on any of character's ages as of yet.

Honestly, this post is just about me being shocked. Shocked at how young Nino looks and good golly! He looks great for someone who's possibly 40-something! There's only one answer to all of this. Nino found the fountain of youth and that's why he looks young all the time.

Thoughts on ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. Episode 1: Jean the Cigarette-Peddler

Out of the blue today I decided to watch an anime series from the Winter 2017 season. It is titled ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. It is based off of a manga series by Natsume Ono.

At the beginning, I didn't know what to make of this anime, but what really caught my eye is the animation style and visuals. Now, I'm not too familiar with who's who in regards to animators, but I can tell from my perspective, this show is pleasing to the eyes. At least in the sense of animation quality.

Plot wise, I thought it to be very consistent and I do believe there are hints of foreshadowing throughout the show. Like for some reason, one of the ACCA Chief Officers wants to terminate Jean Otus's inspection department. An exact reason wasn't exactly given as far as I could see. Whatever it is, I have a feeling things are going to get interesting in future episodes.

Overall, I'm glad I decided to start watching this show. As mentioned before, I like animation and plot. However, there is one thing I'm curious about. Why are cigarettes so expensive in that kingdom? There was mention of some ACCA employees being involved with black market activities over tobacco. Makes you wonder how does Jean even have the money to buy them.

Also, to Jean. Stop smoking man! It's bad for you health!

Going to try and make this into a personal blog....

I've been blogging on the Internet for a very long time now. In fact, I remember the very first time I actually used a blogging service once and that, was almost 11 years ago. I pretty much used all kinds of web blogging sites from Blogspot to Wordress to Tumblr to LiveJournal to fc2 and now, Dreamwidth. The ones I've used the longest and quite consistently would have to be Wordpress and Tumblr. I have tried many a time to start and keep up a sort of personal blog that isn't on Tumblr. Since I have found that Tumblr isn't the place for one to write out their thoughts. The site itself, is more fast paced and instantaneous with content popping up every single second of the day. Also, if anything Tumblr is more a visual site meaning content there is more geared towards, art, photography, videos, screenshots, animated GIFs, and the like.

So, as an attempt to hopefully FINALLY maintain a personal blog of my own, I'm going to try and post stuff here to Dreamwidth as often as I can. In the past, I've attempted to do this with LiveJournal, but either I forgot or wasn't really motivated to do at the time. I even tried again with fc2, but then I realized that blogging site wasn't for me. So maybe, the third or fourth try would be the charm.

What will I talk about on here? I haven't really decided on that yet, but I'm leaning towards making this into a animation, anime, manga, and pop culture discussion blog. I watch a lot of anime and read some manga as well. So maybe, if I feel like Twitter isn't giving me enough space to talk about things, I'll post my thoughts on whatever I'm watching/reading here. With that being said, if anyone actually stumble upon this blog, don't expect any organization. All the things I read and watch are really spontaneous so everything will be scattered.

Well, as Porky Pig would say, "That's all folks!"

Arrivederci everyone!
